Empowering Widows in VOM JOS SOUTH, PLATEAU STATE : A Beacon of Hope

In a heartwarming initiative, BECOMING LIKE CHRIST recently organized a philanthropic program aimed at empowering widows in VOM COMMUNITY. This program, held on 21st December 2024, was a testament to our commitment to uplifting the lives of those who have faced significant hardships.

Program Highlights

1. BLC promised to Organised Skill Development Workshops: The program featured an announcement that there will be series of skill development workshops tailored to the needs of the widows. These workshops included training in various crafts, agriculture, and small-scale business management, equipping the participants with the skills needed to become self-reliant.

2. Community Support Networks: Building a strong support network was a key focus of the program. We facilitated the formation of support groups where widows could share their experiences, offer mutual support, and foster a sense of community.
